About

UGA Water Polo promotes friendship and sportsmanship through the sport of water polo and is a great way to have fun and stay in shape. The Men’s Water Polo Club at UGA is a collegiate water polo team that competes throughout the United States. It is a not-for-profit organization assembled by students, faculty, and staff at the University of Georgia. The team is organized through the UGA Recreational Sports Department and is governed by the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA). The UGA team is a part of the CWPA’s Southeastern Divisional Conference where it competes against GT, Emory, Vandy, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, and Clemson in the fall. In the spring, it enters in off-season tournaments in various states. While the team strives to be the most competitive team in the CWPA Southeastern Conference, the team welcomes players at all skill levels. No prior polo experience necessary–if you can swim, we will teach you the rest!
